Track Name: You Know I Will
You Know I Will

Is there a reason for the things that I do?
I know a smart man who would argue that it's all been for you
You are the reason that he gets out of bed
You put the keys in his ignition and a song in his head

I'll step right up
And take a swing
I'll wear you down til you agree to wear this ring
I'll set us up
In a big house on the hill
I'll fill you up until we both know that you got your fill
You know I will

When I'm around you I'm a celebratin' fool
It don't matter if we're standing still or drinking, playing pool
I saw you sleeping once and oh my my my my
Well I never seen such beauty and I thought that I would die

I'll step right up
And take a spin
I'll want for nothing but for you to take me in
I'll set us up
In a big house on the hill
I'll fill you up until we both know that you got your fill

Seems like only yesterday
My life had withered all away without you
Now I wanna twist and shout
Let everybody know about
The way you've taken all my doubts and
Turned them into thrills....You know I will

I'll step right up
And take a swing
I'll wear you down til you agree to wear this ring
I'll set us up
In a big house on the hill
I'll fill you up until we both know that you got your fill
You know I will
Track Name: I'm Fine
You came to town just like a hurricane
Ripping through everyone's sugarcane
Used to be clear skies now it only rains
And nothing's ever gonna be the same

I had a castle before you came around
And now it's nothing but a patch of ground
You moved in fast didn't make a sound
Knocking over everyone you found

But oh, this beating heart of mine
Just hanging from the vine
A cold snap on the way

And oh, these fleeting parts I play
They change from day to day
And you tell me that I'm fine

Well I was warned but didn't pay no mind
I signed my name right on the dotted line
I found some tonic and a bottle of gin
I said a prayer as you were closing in

I thought you'd maybe take a different path
But now I'm standing in the aftermath
Searching through rubble for my dignity
You left me trouble with a capital T

But oh, this beating heart of mine
Just hanging from the vine
A cold snap on the way

And oh, these fleeting parts I play
They change from day to day
And you tell me that I'm fine

I was the only one who wanted you around
And secretly I hoped that you would
blow away this whole damn town
Track Name: Old Man River
Old Man River

Early one morning in late July
The winds picked up and the river grew wide
Battened down the hatches and we locked the doors
Said you best not come around here no more

The windows all rattled and weather vane spun
Aint no place to hide, aint no place to run
We're hangin in the tub with our heads in our hands
Cuz we can't fit under daddy's baby grand

Old man river
Roll on by
Shake and shiver
My oh my

Over at the station got a man on the ground
Well they wrapped up that case when his body was found
With a 40 inside him and one in his hand
He was going down the highway to the promised land

So it's out to the country now to pay our respects
To the ones he left dealing with the side effects
Get a plateful, just be grateful that it isn't you
And when those waters come jumpin' let 'em flow right through

Old man river
Roll on by
Shake and shiver
My oh my

Later that summer when the river ran dry
The banks all crumbled to the lower side
Up on the mountain where the kids all swam
They found another body caught up in Robin's Dam

She was the widow of the trucker from the second verse
She was never any good and she only got worse
Some folk said it was all for the best
But the ones who said nothing are the truly blessed

Old man river
Roll on by
Shake and shiver
My oh my
